2) Task 2: Assume yourself as a network administrator of ABC LLC which provides manufacturing services in the Sultanate of Oman. The company has a head office in Muscat and branch offices in different cities of Oman. The head office has two departments; Marketing with 55 users and Support with 13 users. There are 25 users in Salalah office, 10 users in Nizwa office, 20 users in Ibri office, and 30 users in Rustaq office. The head office is connected to each of the branch office by point to point WAN links. In this context, a) Design an IP schema for the above mentioned company using a class C network of your choice. You need to use variable length subnet masks to fulfill the requirements while wasting the fewest addresses. Design an appropriate IP addressing scheme for head office, branch offices and WAN links. List the subnetwork address, broadcast address, subnet mask, and range of host address of each network. This IP schema should be used for the tasks given below. b) Design the topology for the above mentioned company. The topology should show the devices (routers, switches, PC's) for each office with appropriate cabling and connections. c) Configure head office network with 2 VLANs namely Marketing and Support. d) Configure routing between the offices so that they can communicate effectively. Any one option given below should be configured: i. RIPv2 (Routing Information Protocol) OR ii. OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) e) The routers and the switches should be configured with appropriate authentication options. f) Configure EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) routing protocol, verify which route will be used by the router.
