Liver Regeneration!

The textbook says liver cirrhosis isirreversible, it can only be treated and prevented from gettingworse. Cirrhosis of the liver is when there is a build up of scartissue and new tissue has not yet been scarred. Additionally, theliver has the ability to regrow to original volume after donationdue to the constant regeneration of hepatic cells.

My question is: if a portion of theliver is removed and regrown, will it grow back healthier or withless cirrhosis?
