The physician performs initial hospital care and dictates a detailed history, comprehensive exam and arrives at high complexity medical decision making 2. A patient presents to the ER via ambulance after an MVA with moderate injuries. The physician orders STAT CBC, head and chest x-ray. ER physician performs a detailed history and exam and arrives at a moderate MDM. 3. An inpatient is seen in follow-up by (attending) Dr. Stolker five days after her admission for pelvic pain. The physician performs a problem focused interval history, expanded problem focused exam, and arrives at a moderate level of decision making.
