A natural number consists out of 3 numbers (XYZ), of which thesum equals 15. The sum of the number of units (Z) and the number ofhundreds (X) equals double of the number of tens (Y). The number ofunits (Z) is smaller than the number of hundreds (X). Also, whenthe numbers of units and hundreds swap places, then the new numberequals the original number plus 396. Determine the original number(XYZ).

For each question:

  • Define the mathematical system of equations
  • Does the system have a unique solution? (Determinant =/ 0)
  • If the system has a unique solution search it via the rule ofCramer (and/or Gauss).
