Let the polar equation of curve be =r(0), where M(r,) is any point of L and Mo(2,0) is a fixed point above L. If the fan area of curved edge enclosed by the polar diameters of OMO,OM and curve is equal to half of the arc length between two points Mo and M on L, the equation of curve L is obtained.
